Use items you have on hand to create fabulous table decor! A white tablecloth with a red runner is a great start to any table.  Add placesettings – white will work but add a touch of color by using a pink or red napkin.  You can also add some fun candies or chocolates to the plate to add a fun, tasty “appetizer”!  For the centerpiece, adding heart shaped candles or an array of candles in all shapes and sizes adds some “romance” to the table and is an easy and inexpensive way to decorate.  Feathers can also be used for a fun touch!  Hope this gives you some great ideas!  Happy Valentine’s Day!

The new Indianapolis Colts Grille was the perfect venue to host such an event – a contemporary style sports bar with more TVs than you can count.  Their team was a true pleasure to work with!

US Foods provided fun and festive hors d’oeuvres.  A signature drink called “The Playmaker” featuring Corzo tequilla was passed through the room and for the those with a sweet tooth, Gigi’s cupcakes provided miniature cupcakes with green and “Colts” blue icing!

Guests were welcomed by the smooth sound of Underground Groove.  After cocktails, Antoine spoke about his vision for the foundation and then the evening’s hosts, Jimmy “Mad Dog” Matis and Comedian, Chris Spencer, worked the room.

We are grateful for the support that we received from the Indianapolis Colts organization,  the National Football League, the NFL Players Association, the Indianapolis Pacers as well as a long list of local partners.  A HUGE thank you goes out to all who contributed their time, their talent and their services to make this event a success.

Over the past several years, orange has grown in popularity and acceptance among designers and consumers alike. A provocative attention-getter, Tangerine Tango is especially appealing in men’s and women’s fashion. Fashion designers featured in the PANTONE Fashion Color Report Spring 2012, including Tommy Hilfiger, Nanette Lepore, Elie Tahari and Adrienne Vittadini, are incorporating this attractive orange into their spring collections.

I am looking forward to using this color in many upcoming events as what colors are hot in fashion and home decor translates into event decor as well.  I have seen this color paired with many colors – chocolate brown, lime green and honeysuckle – however, my favorite pairing is with turquoise!  Can’t wait to add dramatic splashes of color this year!

In order to create an experience that was like going to a game – attendees were given game tickets, bottled water and popcorn (from Just Pop In). We used rope and stanchion (provided by A Classic) as the guests arrived to escort them around a giant 6′ inflatable basketball.  At each place setting there was an event program and on every chair, we hung a rally towel with the company logo.  The front wall of the room was covered in hanging custom jerseys and on stage, was a 9′ back lit basketball (from Impact Group).  The result…Nothin’ but Net!

Vintage Inspired – These old keys attached to a rustic door provide a very charming way to enter a space. Very symbolic and a great DIY project.

Destination - This is a fun way to incorporate travel, no matter the destination.

Garden Party – Nothing says ‘welcome’ better than a beverage! A refreshing idea to show guests to their tables. You’re creative juices could run wild here…

Whimsical – What a great way to organize the seating and really let your personality shine. Nothing displays a couple’s chemistry more than the Periodic Table.

A creative seating chart is also great conversation piece during the cocktail reception.  Engage your guests and most importantly – have fun!

An ideal summer evening – the weather couldn’t have been better – the guests danced the night away with DJs Eric Huxley and Anthony Campion from Platinum DJ.  Eventfull Planning partnered with Kaeley Ritterskamp for the floral design. The contemporary orchid arrangements complimented the beach atmosphere perfectly.

In keeping with the theme – the menu had a tropical twist.  Laura Buttry and the team at the Sheraton City Centre were fantastic! A special thanks Molly Connor Photography for capturing the beauty of the event.  The evening was the perfect way to celebrate with friends and family.  Happy Birthday Angie!

The ceremony and reception were held at the Indianapolis Marion County Public Library. With a host of talented vendors, the day was fabulous.  Compass Catering provided a succulent menu; Photography provided by Scallini; Entertainment provided by Souled Out; Videography provided by Jason Girt of Creative Eye Productions; Florals/Decor provided by BoKay and Event Fabrix.

Susan was an exquisite bride and Frank was quite the dapper groom.  A color pallet of navy blue, white and blush pink, the peonies and hydrangeas were an excellent choice. What a fabulous day!
